I'm not sure these would all be politically correct today, but in the '40's these posters were what Americans saw in barber shops and post offices all over America. "Back the Attack-Buy War Bonds!" Some posters were for recruitment purposes while others encouraged buying bonds for the war effort. All in all, the Smithsonian Institute has preserved this little bit of Americana for us to re-visit.

The two original pages used on this medium sized book come from a Vintage Military Poster calendar put out by the Smithsonian Institute. The 1/4" thick wood covers measure 9" tall and 6 1/4" wide. There are 200-230 cream colored blank pages filling this great book. I have carefully varnished and sanded this art many times over many days to ensure durability and useability. It is a strong and sturdy book just like the America these posters are supporting. For a history buff this would be an ideal gift. A person could journal in it or scrapbook it. You could sketch your doodles, keep your addresses or plan your day with it. This book will sustain you for years to come.

I will ALWAYS refund over-charges on shipping costs rounding up to the nearest dollar.
