Vintage Brownie Starmatic camera, produced 1959-1963 by Eastman Kodak Co.

Black molded plastic body with shiny silver metal faceplate. Ruby red plastic film counter window on back. Kodar f/8 44mm lens with three elements and fixed focus. Built-in selenium light meter. Has two shooting modes, automatic and manual, which has five exposure settings based on EV values ranging from bright sun to overcast. When set on manual, an amber shade comes across the viewfinder to let you know you are no longer shooting on automatic. A pointer appears in the viewfinder to indicate when light is too dim for proper exposure.

Measures 3 3/4" tall x 3 1/4 wide x 2 1/4" deep.

Takes 127 film. Some specialty suppliers still have 127 film (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/450101-REG/Efke_100127_R100_Black_and_White.html), but if you prefer a more readily available option, 35mm can be respooled onto 127 spools. Since 127 is slightly larger format than 35mm, the resulting photos will show sprocket holes.

Comes with one 127 spool inside.

Includes neck strap, brown leather field case, operating manual, and original box. (Box has fantastic graphics.)

Excellent vintage condition. I haven't tested this camera with film, but everything appears to be working on it. Shutter fires, and film advance works smoothly. Manual shooting mode appears to work. The low-light pointer warning works, indicating that the light meter still functions, though I cannot guarantee the meter is reading with 100% accuracy. Camera is clean inside and out. Has a bit of rubbing on the plastic on the back and the metal on the top, but otherwise has very little cosmetic wear. Leather case is in good shape, with a few scratches. Original box shows some wear and has some glue residue inside, but is sturdy and fully intact.
