Kamenstein Desk and Studio Organizer - Vintage Modern 1987 - Designed by Ancona 2 Designers

The Ancona 2 designed a series of highly useful and exceedingly functional receptacles..
all related to organizing the desk space or studio.
A husband and wife team.. Jane and Bruce they worked from the late 60s onward.
This is a famous piece from the 80s.

The Kamenstein company produced heavy duty office equipment-
all the way down to heavy duty desk appliances!

Your Pencil Cup just got better!

A carefully orchestrated series of pockets for supplies.
As you can see from the photos,
one of the saddled receptacle pieces slips off. It can be left on- or not.
It provides a place to store a pair of scissors, markers and etc.
A remarkably deep center is perfect for long paintbrushes- rules and more!

The whole is mounted to a ball bearing device -
so it easily turns all around- like a lazy susan!

Marked:
Kamenstein

Designed By Ancona 2 designs
NYC

Measures:
9" tall x 7" @ base diameter.

Condition:
very very good working shape...
There is one edge that is slightly chipped at- and some yellowing in regular patches from light.

But the whole is in fine fine Vintage 80s shape!
