A vintage heavy glass 1 quart oil bottle with metal fill spout, circa 1920s, made by The Huffman Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio. Hufffman made oil bottles for many of the major oil companies - Shell, Mobile, Phillips, etc. during this era. The spout has some denting and signs of age. as pictured (there seem to be traces of red paint) but the glass is free of chips, cracks, and crazing, with all the Huffman info embossed on both sides. The bottle stands 13.5" tall with the spout, and is about 4" in diameter. It looks like there is a very small amount of dried oil reside in the bottom. A great addition to your gas station collection.....
