The REAL THING; a 4" tall clear-glass square-shaped antique PATENT MEDICINE (quack) bottle, an original hand blown 100 year old 'Snake Oil' bottle!
The bottle is embossed on 3 sides, "CLARK STANLEY'S / SNAKE OIL LINIMENT".
This is an antique hand Blown Into Mold (BIM) patent medicine bottle, ca. late 1800's, well over 100 years old.
This bottle is in good condition. It has some light traces of content haze and a small ding on the base. It is not a chip, no glass is missing. Overall excellent condition.
These bottles come in different sizes, this is the rare small 1 1/2 oz. 'sample' size. You don't see many of these Clark Stanley Snake Oil bottles as they don't often come up for sale, and you see even fewer of these small sample sizes.

So he started his "Clark Stanley's Snake Oil Liniment" business, complete with hand blown bottles with his name on them, as you see here for sale. Some time ago we saw a labeled one of these bottles in a display, and the paper label shows a picture of him with a cowboy hat on, a large handle-bar mustache, and surrounded by 2 rattlesnakes, all the right stuff! And there you have it, the birth of 'Snake Oil' liniment ...
