This is an amazing Victorian Infant Christening Gown Slip. It has tiny tuck Tucks, Pleats and Lace Insert. It measures 38" long from the waist band. It does have damage but this is a very early Victorian piece. The bottom tucked ruffle has a few holes and age damage but mostly it is intact. There are two shred tears in the body of the slip about 1.5" long and one vertical tear about 8" long. These can be mended and patched like they did in early Victorian days. This is a special piece even with these problems and the flaws are what you would expect in a cotton garment of this age.
