These real seashell earrings were handmade in the Hawaiian Islands in the late 1970s. I turned one earring in the photo because each side is different. Gold tone wires attach to the shells with a gold border around each one. Each dangly wire is decorated with one tiny white pearl above the shell. The ear wires were made of two differrent metals for some reason. One is gold tone and the other is darker, resembling copper with a tarnished look. Very unusual and striking shells.
