Found one more in my stash!! Currently wound into a center pull ball but can rewind into skein if noted during checkout. Thanks!

This is a two ply version... I spun three skeins as a plied yarn because I wanted to see how the colorway would change. Selft-striping, very lovely.

Another opera colorway. This time, it's "The Little Sweep" by Benjamin Britten which is a darling opera for children. A wonderful array of color, moments of boldness but with an overall muted look. I thought this was going to look slightly different when I was painting the roving, but I love it all the more now that I'm spinning it. Mauve, slate blue, goldenrod, cream, sage, and more.

Lofty with a lovely sheen, 100 yard skeins, DK weight, 3 in the dye lot. 85% wool (more than half of that is merino) and 15% mohair.

Each skein of yarn is a labor of love. Recycled or local roving is hand painted with low acid dyes, steamed, and cooled for 24 hours to ensure colorfast yarn and less environmental impact as no dye is being washed down the drain. The roving is drafted and spun on my dreamy Schacht Matchless wheel, wound onto the niddy noddy and fashioned into a skein. Next, I soak the skein of yarn in a spring water and organic grapefruit/eucalyptus essential oil rinse. At this point the wet skein is blocked (dried with weights or on a yarn blocker to remove overtwist) and finally stored, awaiting a new home.
