This is a Lithograph I made at The Art Students League in NYC last year. Stone Lithography is a very old printmaking technique that entails drawing on the finest smoothest litho stone with a greasy crayon and then etching the drawing into stone with acid. Its a very engaging and technical printmaking technique.
The image comes from a sketch I made while sitting in Starbucks having my morning coffee.
The image is 9" X 11" printed with Charbonnel ink on Rives BFK heavyweight cotton rag paper 11" X 15".
It will ship in a stiff flat pack. Signed by me, Coco Berkman. Edition of 7.
