Since ancient times each Uzbek woman makes an embroidery as it is very important part of the Uzbek culture and traditions. Each piece of Silk handmade embroidery is a real masterpiece, which has been made with skill and love.

This one item is a perfect sample of Old Uzbek Silk handmade embroidery. The item is an Uzbek Silk handmade embroidery called "Soya-Gosha". The region of the item is Surhandariya, the South of Uzbekistan. The age of the item is about 40 years. Such textile is a part of the coverlet that was used for covering the beddings, that were stored in yurts during the day. The Silk embroidery is hand-stitched on cotton fabric. The pattern of the embroidery is composed of floral motifs. The bottom of the item is decorated with fringe.
