A superb commemorative glass wall plaque - marking the sinking of the WWI hospital ship the SS Braemar Castle - which was torpedoed by the Germans without warning on 23rd November 1916

It is backed by a flock board, is in a diamond shape and measures approximately 12 5/8 inches square

The condition of the glass is good; it has some scratches and marks, but overall is in fine fettle for the age.

The backing board has wear, but again no more than you would expect for an item fast approaching 100 years old

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display piece, or authentic period prop.
