This set of bottles would look lovely in your coastal home or beach house. They are a beautiful set of vintage aqua glass bottles each with its own sea life permanently attached to the top. Display them on a shelf, mantel or on a table. Add a lovely vintage tray and you have a beautiful sea life display.

The tallest bottle is a vintage aqua glass flask. It probably held some type of alcoholic beverage at one time. There are no markings on this bottle but it has a really nice cloudy sea glass look. The edges are uniquely rimmed and it has a few imperfections like air bubbles in the glass which reinforces its age. This bottle is probably dated in the very early 1900s maybe even 1890s. I've topped this bottle with a beautiful black sea fan. It has a beautiful shape and is edged with silver leaf paint. The bottle is trimmed with natural jute.

The next bottle is the bottle with the starfish. This bottle has raised lettering on the front. It reads: FRANK MILLER'S CROWN DRESSING, NEW YORK U.S.A. and there is also a trademark crown just under the word Crown. Very neat bottle that once held shoe polish. This is bottle is dated between 1895 to 1905. Here is a link to an advertisement or trade card: http://www.sheaff-ephemera.com/list/diecuts-2/frank-millers-crown-dressin.html The bottle is topped with a beautiful sugar starfish, edged with silver leaf paint and trimmed with natural jute.

The last bottle is a smaller round aqua bottle with an amazing patina inside. I love how it shines, especially in the sunlight. See the last photo...that is a photo of the morning sun shining through the bottles. They glow! This bottle has no markings but it either held some sort of medicine or food product. To the top of this bottle I've added a pretty pair of purple noble pectins with barnacles (scallop shell). There is an identical shell on the back side but only one barnacle. I have trimmed the bottle with silver leaf paint and edged the neck with natural jute. This bottle also dates in the very early 1900s.

No sand was added to these bottles. They were just too pretty to add sand. I hope you like them.
