On the photo's you see a blue whale fleece and a cotton whale.

Size finished whale is 30cm / 12" inch, if you want to make a smaller whale, then just print the pattern out at a smaller percentage (80% 90% etc)

I made this whale for my co-teacher's baby and it turned out adorable. Pattern is easy to follow and works up quickly. Takes quite a bit of Polyfil to stuff it nice and firm. I did sew the black of the eye down to the whale's face first and then added the white felt highlight to the eye, because my sewing machine would have eaten it otherwise. Highly recommend this pattern.

I'm a self taught confident beginner, but I chose minky fabric which was a huge learning curve! It was super slick, which required hand stitching some parts, but it turned out adorable. Next time I'll use the pattern with the seam allowance included to try to get a bit neater finish.

Received the download link within a couple minutes and started on my whale right away! The pattern is wonderfully accurate and easy to read and my whale came out great! Protip: I don't have a printer, so traced out the pattern from my laptop screen. Backlit. :)
