Crochet your own Bernie Sanders doll! This pattern has many photos to help with all the details this doll is made with including hair, glasses, the mask and mittens.

*Update: I have updated and added all new clear and bright photos to this pattern.

Bernie is approx 9" tall when completed. This doll is made to sit. (May need support)

Pattern is written in English US terms.

This pattern is for the intermediate to advanced crocheter who has amigurumi experience and is familiar with how amigurumi is made and assembled.

The pattern does call for a few rows of the "Waistcoat" stitch. I do not include instructions on this particular stitch. Please review a tutorial. It is not a difficult stitch and will make a significant difference in the look of the mittens.

This pattern was so easy to follow !! I love love loved it ! I made it for my mom for her birthday and she was ecstatic ! The only things I found tricky was the shoes, gloves, and glasses. The shoes are started in a way I had never done before so it was just a little learning curve. The gloves were done using a stitch I had never done (and i never actually figured it out lol) and the glasses just made me want to shoot someone. I think that’s just the nature of working with wire when you’re not super experienced with it lol.

Pattern was very easy to follow and had great images to help with the more complicated parts. I love that there are multiple options listed for how to make the legs. I tried the pant cuffs but I couldn’t get it right so I was able to just use the alternate leg pattern to skip the cuff altogether. Love our little Bernie, he came out super cute!

Pattern is easy to follow and each piece so far has came out super cute! The only thing I found is that the legs were a little long and disproportionate to the body/head (maybe it was my tension). I just took two or three rows off and it looks much better. Love the added YouTube videos for the little more challenging pieces. I love it so far!
