Here is a wonderful Geisha Mask Greeting card by the Paper Moon Company from 1980. This Geisha mask is face sized, with punctured bits along the outline and around the eyes, and two holes for the insertion of a string, but it might be lovely framed. It's 10 1/2" long and 7 1/4" high, an updating of the upper face masks of the Victorian Era in its original cellophane envelope with an insert showing the other masks in the series. I bought this because I thought it was quite beautiful- I particularly like the way the fans in the hair are rendered, definitely a recalling of the days of chromolithographs. This is a little bent on the right hand side, with a bit of wear to the corner (see second photo) , but this would be invisible if it were framed.
