A wonderful 1880s Coalport fluted edge shell effect serving dish / vintage bowl

Coalport Porcelain Works John Rose & Co manufactured porcelains at Coalport Shropshire from 1795 and at Stoke-on-Trent from 1926

It measures 2 1/8 inches tall 10 3/8 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches from one side to the other.

The condition is good; it seems to have some wear to two of the fluted edges, which are rough when you run your fingers over them and it has lost some of the gold trim, but overall this is a quality item in fine fettle for the age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
