Purr-fectly charming and a purr-fect item for any cat lover.

This is a framed seriograph or water color poster done in caricature style of a Persian or Angora cat. It was very competently drawn in blue paint on cheery lemon yellow paper.

The caricature was drawn so the following words appear in the outline of the cat face: After Jean Cocteaux (at the top) and what looks like Club (?) des amis de Jezabel.

According to the previous owner, it may have been done at the Rhode Island School of Design. But has not been removed from the frame and no signature on the front so I don't know who the artist was or where it was done.

Poster board backing and a steel and glass frame. Label on the back indicates framing was done in Rhode Island. Frame measures 16 3/4 inches x 23 3/4 inches; opening is 16 inches x 23 inches.

As far as can be seen, condition is excellent.
