This is a lovely antique soft lace buffet cloth or table runner. It is handmade crochet lace done in a pin wheel pattern. it looks and feels like it has never been used and was stored carefully and preserved very well. There are no marks from storage or stains. It measures long at approximately 19"W X 58"L

What makes this table lace very unique is that the needlework was done with a combination of ecru and cream (off white) colored threads. There are approximately sixteen rows of 3-1/2" pinwheels, five ecru pinwheels are across each row.

On the last pinwheel of the last row a cream colored thread was used to crochet the pinwheel and then the same cream thread was used to edge the tablecloth. It is a feminine and creative accent that gives this table runner a look and style of its own. The crochet lace stitches are tiny very accurate and precise.

It is so lovely and long enough that it can be used as a shoulder scarf for evening wear or perfect also to use as a bridal shawl.

Very nice hand made lace! Just Lovely!
