Here is a pair of earrings shaped by hand into an ancient native flower symbol. They have a patina of reds and browns.

Length 2" (with ear loops)

With surgical steel ear pieces.

Coppersmithing has been a valued art form by many tribes in Meso and North American for thousands of years. I was introduced to the beauty and diversity of coppersmithing as a child and have been love with copper ever since. I use very basic tools, fire and natural techniques for different patinas. The unpredictability of the copper makes each piece have a different outcome.
