Here hand copper smithed pieces with fire licked red and brown patinas are staggered between black onyx chip beads, with a hand made copper clasp. This necklace was designed to hang right under the dip at the bottom of the neck.

Length - 8 1/2"

Coppersmithing has been a valued art form by many tribes in Meso and North American for thousands of years. I was introduced to the beauty and diversity of coppersmithing as a child and have been love with copper ever since. I use very basic tools, fire and natural techniques for different patinas. The unpredictability of the copper makes each piece have a different outcome.
