Gingham stripes & checks were made in England and were being shipped to the Colonies in the 1700's.
A beautiful Colonial style outfit in pink checks is for Felicity & also is suitable for Elizabeth. Sleeves trimmed in white eyelet with pink ribbon. he square neckline also has eyelet trim. The back has a Velcro closure. Silver House key is on a matching ribbon that ties around neck. White apron can be worn with many outfits & has tie sashes. Made to fit the American Girl Dolls & other 18" cloth dolls. Outfit is washable & all seams are surged & finished. Waist & shoulder seams are top-stitched. Shoes ( a purchase option) are the black lace-up type which were popular in that era. Doll in photos is not included. Created in a smoke free home.
