You see vintage wooden tennis rackets all the time, but how often do you come across a vintage wooden Raquetball or Squash racket!! Second a saw this I had to have it!

Manufactured by Sportcraft this 9-Ply Constructed racket is made in Japan, probably sometime in the early 1970s.

Condition is remarkable! Some expected wear on the edges of the racket as well as the leather grip and leather wrist strap. A touch of dry rot on the very end where the wrist strap connects to the handle (see picture). Strings are in great shape! Might have been restrung at some point. But, considering age and abuse raquetball ball rackets endure (hitting against walls and floor to win a shot) this is in remarkable shape!

Well made racket! Has some beauty about it that is hard to describe...

Measures about:

9 inches wide (just a touch under 9 inches) at widest part of head.
17 1/2 inches tall (from top to base of handle)
1 inch thick on the head

Would make wonderful addition for the raquetball player in your life, could even still be used or a fantastic display piece! ~ Sure to provide great conversation.
