Vintage Home Laughlin Fiestaware Apricot Covered Butter Dish circa 1986. Fiestaware was made in apricot from 1986 - 1998. I can recall the day in 1986, I first discovered Fiestaware and came home with bags of the china. I am sure the sales pro made her monthly commission on me, it is good to be a newbie in life.

Fiesta Dinnerware was designed by Frederick Rhead in 1936 and are now among the most collected china products in the world. As originally designed, the line features art deco styling and bold bright colors. Apricot was one of their softer shades used. Fiesta ware was discontinued in 1973 and reissued in 1986 with new contemporary colors to mark it 50th Anniversary.

This covered butter dish has been well loved, no chips, nicks, it has been in my personal collection, but I have run out of space so now it needs to find a new home. It measures 7 1/2" long, 4" wide in the center of the dish, 3 3/4" wide at the end of the dish. It is 3 1/2" tall from the bottom to the top of handle on the cover. The prices of vintage Fiestaware all rests on the color and condition of the product.

Fiesta is the perfect defination of this line of china. The Fun is to mix and match, weather you are a new collector of Fiestaware or an old pro, apricot goes with everything. The pattern's very popular design broke with tradition by shedding the formality of floral motifs.

Now you have an excuse to have some friends in and give them a sinful treat that calls for butter/margarine. I can smell those cinnamon buns already.

Dr. Who is knocking at the door, he is always hungry..............have Fun.
