≈Description≈
This is a delicate, hand stitched christening gown that was made in or near the year 1900. The owner of the gown indicated that it was originally made in France. This gown has 2 small buttons at the top of the bodice to fasten the gown closed and the rest of the gown is open. The bodice, sleeves and hemline are trimmed with eyelet lace. There is a vertical striped floral pattern woven into the crisp cotton fabric which adds a unique touch to this gown. There is also a unique aspect to the sleeves: Each sleeve has draw strings inside near the cuff which allow you to cinch the sleeves around your little one's arm. This gown is approximately 3-12 months size depending on how much you would want the gown to fall below your little one's feet and how much you would want the sleeves to bunch around your little one's arms. Please see measurements below for correct fit.
