Not much is known about this deep-sea dwelling angler fish. Like all other angler fish, it has a little bioluminescent lure that floats above its big frowny mouth. It can inflate itself up like a puffer fish in self-defense, and walks along the ocean floor using its fins as legs.

Instead of having the physics and texture of a slimy water balloon, this particular coffinfish is soft to the touch and quite light and rigid. Its body is 5.5" (14 cm) long, and 4.5" (11.5 cm) wide from the tip of one fin to the other. It is made entirely of hand-dyed Merino and Blue Faced Leicester wool, except for its pearlescent hand-painted paperclay eyes.

Because they are so damn mysterious and there isn't much information available other than "THEM GUYS UGLY & WEIRD", this cretur does not come with a cretur card.

Needle felted Coffinfish (Chaunax endeavouri)
