I have found that these crocheted lace stones are so much fun to create and each one takes on a look and personality of its own. It has now become an obsession with me to create these and I find myself secretly looking at stones everywhere that have "Lace Stone" potential. :)

This listing is for a beach stone that I have been saving back for a while, because I loved the perfect-ness of this stone. This stone is so smooth, amazingly oval, and uniformly flat. I've created a very unique pattern to fit this cool stone. The pattern has been inspired by vintage Irish lace. The lace has been made using very small thread using a tiny crochet hook, it is very intricate.

This lace stone measures approx: 3 3/8 inches x 1 5/8 inches and is about 3/4 of an inch high. This lace stone measures differently with the fluffiness...4 1/4x 2 1/2 inches and 1 inch high. This piece has been made with beautiful vintage thread. This is the first lace stone I've made with this thread, I love the aged beige color and slight color differences in this thread. The color of the thread used here is beautiful shades of beige.

This stone looks completely different on the bottom. I also have a photo of the other side. The color of the stone itself is gray with speckles. This pattern has a 3D effect on the top and around.

This listing is for one crocheted lace stone only, the stone on the top of the stack in photo number 5. The other stone shown here are currently for sale in my shop.

My prices are determined by thread size, difficulty of the pattern and the time involved in creating them. This stone is a little smaller than most of the stones in my shop, with a more involved pattern, unique pattern and tiny thread.

This stone came from a picturesque cobblestone beach in the northwest. Here is a photo of it's original home, isn't it gorgeous? Jodi from: http://www.etsy.com/shop/refugium?ref=pr_shop_more sent me the most wonderful box of treasures (cobblestones)....there will be more of these beach/cobblestones in my shop soon.

These stones would be great as pretty decorations in your home. They also make awesome, unique, handmade gifts. They look great lined up on a table or stacked on top of each other. This one could also be used for a paperweight.
