Missy was sculpted from cloth and stone clay, then painted with pastel and sealed with a matte varnish. Her dress was made of scrap cotton and her boots are made of paperclay and painted. Her hair is made of lambswool and her eyes are pupil less and made of lamp work glass.

Her legs are made of carved cherry sticks and attached to her cloth and clay body.

She stands 15 1/2" tall and is firmly attached to a 3 x 3 1/2 x 1 1/12" painted wooden base.
