I'm having lots of fun exploring patchwork and the world of half triangles at the moment! The pairing of print and plain, colour and white; the endless combinations based around the humble triangle that result in intriguing geometric patterns... the possibilities are endless and this is just the beginning! Patchwork is definitely experiencing a comeback - not just for grannies :o)

This pair of patchwork cushion covers has been made using cheerful fabrics to create a Balkan Puzzle block design. The pattern reminds me of those little windmills you get at a funfair. The cushions will add a touch of handmade charm to your couch, bed or your favourite chair. They look especially good on a shabby chic white wooden stool, perhaps in your garden on a sunny spring day.

To make the patchwork I chose a royal blue fabric with a juicy cherry print as my main focal point, contrasted against a crisp white fabric and a bold red border to finish. The cushions have a white envelope style back. I have added lining to the covers for a sturdy structure. All raw edges have been overlocked (serged). I have taken great care constructing these covers so you can be sure you will receive well-made, quality items. This listing is for two covers, cushions are not included.

These covers would make a lovely Mother's Day gift :o)

Like the pattern but fancy different fabrics? Just ask! I'm happy to take custom orders.
