When I was a child, it was de rigeur at Christmas for ladies to pin a corsage on their coats as they went about their Christmas shopping, luncheons, and swell parties. I thought this was just the height of elegance, and I still do. I suppose there are still corsages being made today, but there was something really special about the fake glossy leaves, plastic bells rimmed with glitter, and outer-spacy trim in colors not normally seen in nature.

This gold Christmas corsage dates from the early 1960s. This is meant to be fastened to your coat with a hatpin, which will be included.

Wear it for Christmas or any time you want to feel a little retro.

I do ship almost everywhere; if your country isn't listed here, please convo me for rates. Check out my shop policies as well!

Thanks for looking at Violets and Wine!
