This vintage 1960s horse head stick pin is most interesting. The round center contains a raised brown-tone horse head inside a glass dome with a background of iridescent coating resembling mother-of-pearl. The pin is marked "S STERLING" on the back. It could use a good polish but appears to be a brushed silver, rather than smooth and shiny. It is much brighter than it appears in these pictures. It measures 2" long and the dome measures 1/2" in diameter and 1/4" thick. There appears to be some tiny specs of discoloration inside the dome. This is such a cool piece of jewelry for someone who loves horses and vintage jewelry, and would look great on a scarf or garment.
