The [Metric] Versatile Garage Shop Workbench - Digital Plans

So freaking awesome! Im almost positive in one of his videos his says he has an engineering background... um yeah, it shows. wonderfully modern design but also the renders and cutlists and step by step, it doesnt get any better than this. I even had an issue with an order (my mistake, not theirs) and he fixed it and responded via email, what a guy! Im about 3/5th through this build and its a freaking sturdy sturdy workhorse. And thankfully no crazy joinery, except a few tenons but nothing a medium level woodworker couldn't do without a jig. Thanks bro again for your time and efforts into all your work. Ciao!

Finished part one of the build. Have bought the Metric version and it is a shame the conversion is done 1 one 1 which gives very strange measurements. There could have been a rounding off. There are some minor mistakes in the conversions or typo’s. The cut list has 19mm mdf, however in the tabletop 13mm is mentioned. Also we in Europe do not have 19mm plywood or MDF. It is 18mm. We also do not have 13mm, but 12mm. So be aware that you have to make some slight adjustments to the conversions in order for it to fit. Do not start cutting all the parts, but measure before cutting.

The concept is great, I've been liking the way SN thinks about benches alot. Sadly, when SN did the metric conversion, the sheet size didn't switch to metric with it. Just be aware that some parts will be orphaned and require extra sheeting. Check the measurements before you cut!!

Wow. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying how good these plans are. But after downloading them I am blown away by how well laid out, precise and professional these plans look. Manufacturers please take note of instruction manuals and take a note out of Travis’s book. 🤔 10/10 and can’t wait to get cracking on this project. Just got wait now until plywood prices drop 🤣🤣
