Yes, this is a bread baker (though I'm picturing two so you can see multiple views, the listing is for one bread baker).

I've thrown this on my wheel using a good, high-fire stoneware clay. The day after I threw it, and while the clay was still soft, I carved the rim to make it look "woven". It will last as ovenware for years and years.

The interior glaze is a deep green oribe glaze that has iridescence in that depth. The outside glaze is my "millring green" -- an interesting glaze with an perfectly imperfect patina that has little runs within its surface.

This pot is also an *anything* baker -- a one quart casserole, a vegetable server, a popcorn bowl, a fruit bowl. It's a good ol' crock.
