INDIVIDUAL OIL DESCRIPTIONS

(1) Organic Cornmint Essential Oil
Organic Cornmint Essential Oil is obtained from the flowering Mentha arvensis plant, which is native to the cooler areas of Europe, Asia, Eastern Siberia, and North America. The leaves grow in opposite pairs, and are hairy and broad. The flowers are pale purple, being white or pink on occasion. The oil has a very strong mint scent and it often called Field Mint or Wild Mint by many aromatherapists and essential oil enthusiasts.

(2) Organic Cedarwood Essential Oil
Widely grown to modern day North America, Organic Cedarwood Essential Oil has a long and illustrious history. Cedarwood Essential Oils uses and benefits were well understood by the ancient world. Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil was used in the daily lives of many ancient Chinese for centuries and it is revered today for its strong woody, clear, sharp, and fresh scent.

(6) Organic Lavandin Grosso Essential Oil
You may be wondering what is Organic Lavandin Grosso Essential Oil and how it differs regular Lavender oil. For starters, Lavandin is a hybrid plant developed in 1900 by crossing true Lavender (L. angustifolia) with Spike Lavender. Extensively grown in France, the Lavandula Hybrida plant is larger than the Lavender plant with a woody stem and blue or gray flowers. It also has a more camphor-like smell than regular Lavender Oil.

Native to Malaysia and India, the leaves of the Pogostemon Cablin plant is the source of our Organic Patchouli Essential Oil. This bushy plant has a sturdy, hairy stem and large, fragrant, furry leaves with whitish flowers tinged with purple. Known as puchaput in India, the word is derived from Hindustan word patch, meaning green, and ilai, meaning leaf. Patchouli Essential Oil was used by traders to deter insects from damaging precious merchandise destined for Victorian England. It’s warm, earthy and fresh fruit scent has definitely not deterred humans from loving Patchouli Essential Oil, along with its many uses and benefits!
