Who fans have just discovered the identity of River Song in an extraordinary way. Amy Pond was given a hand-stitched prayer leaf for her newborn, Melody Pond. The TARDIS translated the embroidery into English, revealing the Gamma Forest people's version of the baby's name -- River Song!

Our version of Lorna Bucket's gift to Amy is all hand stitched on beautiful, distressed olive taffeta with gold warp. The hand-embroidered name is TARDIS-translated for customer convenience - "River" on one side, "Song" on the other side - and decorated with pearlized beads. It's 7" in diameter and a perfect gift for any Who fan or for new parents.

The tradition of the prayer leaf is that the child whose name is on it will always return home. We can personalize the name embroidered on the leaf for baby gifts, so be sure to convo us for details. We also have in stock the same leaf with the lettering in the original Gamma Forest language instead of English.

"The only water in the forest is the river" and the most beautiful prayer leaf is ours.
