This piece is a wool image to be handfelt. It is thick as a rug and a feast to the sense of touch. It combines two different breeds of sheep wool. Corriedale and criolla. One is soft, for the base, and the other one is hairy and rough, for the embroidery.
The embroidery artwork belongs to a series of illustrations done for this collection. It refers to nests, feathers, sticks and twigs. But everyone has its own interpretation.
The base was handwoven by artisan women in a loom and finshed with a crochet edge. The artwork was hand embroidered by me.
It includes a wooden stick to hung it easy.

You will receive the piece in a cotton bag that will help you to keep it safe while it is not being use.
