This stoneware plate was thrown, coated in my throwing slip, and fired to cone 12 (2400 degrees) in my friend Matt Gaddies wood kiln. The beautiful ash and flame marks are a visible record of each piece of wood used to stoke the kiln.

This particular plate was left unglazed to maximize the effects of the natural kiln environment. Like the rest of the pots out of this kiln, it is loaded with wood ash. All of my pots are intended to be used so all glazes are food safe and lead free. The piece is dishwasher safe; however, like with any piece of art, it is better suited to be hand washed with care

This plate is 9.5 by 9.5 by 1.5

This item is held to the same high standards as any of my pieces that would be displayed in a gallery or a national show.

I ship with USPS Priority and every pot is double boxed and shipped in fresh material so it arrives in the same great condition that it left me. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE MESSAGE ME ABOUT SHIPPING RATES
