I love this postcard, the look on the little boy's face is a picture! The image is of a little boy looking nervously at a little girl who is saying to him "I isn't mad, I's only foolin' - see". The speech bubble is very decorative and very Art Nouveau in style. There is a cute red and white striped border on the front which continues faintly on the back of the postcard.

The postmark is not very clear but either says 1913 or 1918. It was sent to an address in Emlenton, Philadelphia. The message is very sweet, it reads: 'Dear cousin... Mothers hand is almost healed now but is very painful most of the time... We had several light frosts here but didn't hurt anything in our garden a few things froze on the hills. We are having very warm weather now for a few days. Need rain very bad. Your cousin Julia'

There is come yellowing due to its age but other than that it is in good condition.
