Vintage 1900's French Enamel Canister/Storage Set

Stylish Shabby Chic set of storage canisters, originally intended for Farine, Riz, Pates and Poivre. The tins have a fabulous elegant feel to them and the duck egg and taupe stripes look so French! The names are written in black and are a tiny bit faded in the way that only age can manage. I think the names may be hand painted but it is difficult to be sure.

The general condition is good for the age but as you would expect there are a few bumps and knocks in the enamel, leaving a little rusting and a lovely chippy look. The knobs on the top of the lids are a little rusty now and the knob on the Pates tin is missing.

The largest canister is 15cm high with a diameter of 13cm. The smallest canister is 11cm high with a diameter of 9.5cm.

They would of course look fantastic in a vintage or shabby chic kitchen. They would also be great to store all your crafting and sewing supplies in.
