This is a wonderful book on the art of rug hooking that has been copyrighted in the 1940s and 1950s by a lady in Arkansas.

There are 36 pages that discuss how to shade and choose colors, dyes, and many pages of illustrations for patterns and how to color them. There are a couple of old price list brochures in the back of the binder with patterns and accessories and pictures of ladies hooking rugs.

If you are interested in rug hooking this book is terrific and definitely one of a kind in excellent condition. The instructions are in a really nice old three ring black binder with a faux leather look.

I found a bonus: a vintage rug strip cutter in it's original box. I can send you a pic and additional details.

I can send additional pics, it was difficult to try to pick examples from this book to post.
