This colorful vintage postcard from World War I / WWI is an A.P.A. postcard, mailed in 1917, of military soldiers setting up a field kitchen; horses and a wagon are in the background. The postcard has "Field Kitchen" and copyright A.P.A. on the front, and was published by Illustrated Postal Card & Nov. Co., N.Y.

It was mailed in November 1917 to St. Louis, with a postmark of Junction City, Kansas. "If nothing happens I will be in Thanksgiving," a soldier writes.

The postcard is in fair condition. The colors are still bright but it has bending on the corners, edge wear, and crackling on the image (upper left). The stamp was removed. The white box in the center, bottom, has marks and indentations on it.
