Original 1870s tintype of a young butcher in an apron, shown sharpening his knife. Still in its original paper sleeve.

Large, uncommon sized tintype at 5" x 3 5/8". Larger than 1/4-plate, not quite 1/2-plate.
6" x 4" including sleeve.

Very good vintage condition, with a few insignificant light bends and dings.

Shipping includes insurance.
