Charming, large enamel bowl designed by Kaj Franck in the 1960's for the Finnish ceramic company Arabia Finland.

Enamelware bowl with Anthriscus cerefolium herbs around the outside. This bowl is the same style as the other bowl listed in my shop, however this design is actually a little bit of a deeper green, almost black. It also has some minor flaws. There is a small chip on the inside of the bowl as well as another chip on the bottom of the bowl. Each are roughly an inch in length. This bowl also has more flea chip bites around the edging and some minor scratches around the exterior.

Even in though the bowl is not in mint condition, it is still a beautiful display piece or could be for every day use.

Measurements:
Diameter approx. 8.5"
Height approx. 5"

How to care for your vintage enamelware:

Wash
Wash vintage enamelware in soapy water with a nonabrasive cloth. Do not use sharp objects such as knives for scraping debris, and do not use steel wool, which can scratch the coating. For baked-on food or stains, use a spray oven cleaner. Follow the specific directions on the product; however, cover exposed metal or wooden handles on the enamelware with cling wrap.

Soak
Soak enamelware with persistent stains in 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Soaking the pan in chlorine bleach and water can also remove stains. Washing enamelware by hand is the recommended cleaning method. Washing in the dishwasher can cause the enamelware to bump into other dishes, which can cause scratches or chips.

Dry
Dry enamelware both inside and out after cleaning. If any rust spots are seen in the pan, especially where the pan is joined or connected to the handles, apply petroleum jelly; leave on for 10 minutes and wipe away. Coat the spots with cooking oil for additional protection.
