This is muslin feedsack material, and is "not" an actual feedsack. It is a fabric panel printed with an antique, "old technology", 1858 printing press. The one-of-a-kind logo is from the original vintage printing plates.

These are stock photos and yours will be the same design as shown here, but there may be imperfections in the muslin or in the printing, because of the processing and printing on an antique press. Remember that this is not modern, computer technology; these were printed with an antique machine that rises to the second floor in the building. The set up for one design can take a whole day.

I have several designs listed and will be happy to combine shipping.

The muslin panel measures approx. 37-39 inches x 44 inches, before pre-washing. It must be pre-washed even if you are using the fabric for home decor (seat cushion, for example). Washing is necessary, as the print may rub off on clothing.

Directions: Wash in cold water, dry in a hot dryer and then iron on the wrong side to help set the design. The shrinkage will be approx. 15 percent. They "do not" bleed on other laundry, but do fade some and shrink 15 percent.

The design is only on the front, as shown in the pictures, but some have blue ink bleeding to the back (especially the animal ones with the dark blue ink borders); this just seems to add to the vintage look.

One panel makes a pillow cover, laundry or shoulder bag, bib or cobbler apron. You may also want to make toddler clothing. Each would be fine for two dish towels: one with the vintage design and the other decorated with a design of your own.

To make an adult-size dress or jumper, you will need at least two or three of these or combine them with other contrasting materials.

This listing is for "one" feed sack panel. If you need more than one of a design, or other designs I've sold, I may have it or may get them for you. Let me know and I will set up a reserved listing for you.
