Know a treehugger? From a children's book from the 1940's, these book plates would be perfect for them. The black and white graphics would fit in any decor.

The first shows the proper way to plant a tree. The explanatory title says "A Diagram Showing How To Plant A Tree." It features detailed pictures of the all the parts of the tree and the tools necessary. The steps are numbered and explained on the back. .

The second shows the bark, leaves and seeds of 20 trees from Sweet Gum to Sweet Buckeye and from Black Oak to Black Walnut.

This would be great framed or could be used in collages, decoupages, or scrapbooking. This is a plate from a children's book or encyclopedia from 1945.

The image size is 5 X 7 but the page size is 9 3/4 X 6 3/4.
