First Edition. Octavo (8" x 5"). [iv] 94 pp. missing 2 pp. advertisements. C. Stower, printer. Epilogue attributed to M.G. Lewis, Esq. (corrected later state of 1st edition) Spoken by Mr. Elliston. Bound in 19th century marbled boards with green leather spine. Gilt lettering on spine. Good (spine leather sunned to brown; rubbed along edges; 1" split top spine edge; corner rub; small narrow nibbled patch top front & rear bottom; 1" thumb-sized closed tear on one page edge; tiny hole top one margin; paper lightly age-toned; quite free of fox but for first four pages which are mottled) No marks or names. Despite faults, still neat, gift condition of scarce play.
