This is a circa 1800s pair of Pince Nez Lornettes (Folding) Spectacles in Silver and White Gold. They include a white metal chain and case. The bifocal lenses are clean and clear with no scratches or chips. The stunning frames are silver filled, and have an intricate design all around the lens. The spring bridge is 12K White Gold filled and continues the design around the lenses in a larger scale. They are hallmarked on the underside of the spring bridge with a diamond surrounding the letter "G", followed by "SILVER FLD OXFORD 12K GLD FLD BRIDGE". The nosepieces have celluloid pads. The glasses also include a white metal chain which is not hallmarked, and a deep blue velvet lined case. The spectacles measure 3 3/4 inches across by 2 inches high including the spring bridge. The case measures 5 1/8 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches deep by 5/8 inch thick. The chain measures 23 inches in total length.

This stunning and rare pair of Pince Nez Lornettes Spectacles would make a spectacular addition to someone's collection of Victorian opticals; or would be a fabulous gift.
