This listing is for one pendant made from a single recycled guitar string. Each pendant is a unique shade of gold. The bead is part of the string and may be black, or gold. I'll select a color for you if you don't specify a preference. The pendant is strung on a long black waxed cotton cord that is tied in two slip knots so the length is adjustable (it does not have a clasp).

Dimensions variable between .75" and 1" in diameter

The pattern for this piece is taken from a book called "The Arts of the Sailor; Knotting, Splicing and Ropework" by Hervey Garrett Smith. It's a pattern for a thump or block mat- a mat made of rope that keeps the blocks (pulleys) and gear from slamming against the deck.

If they get wet guitar strings may eventually rust.
