Antique Victorian stick pin tiepin sword with diamonds and light blue enamel.

Country of origin: France

Period: circa 1850

Condition: Excellent condition, no trace of wear.

Material: 18K yellow gold

Hallmarks: The French control mark for 18K gold representing an eagle's head that was in use in France from about 1838.

Technique: Enamelling

Diamonds: Five old mine brilliant cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.13 crt.

Engraving: On the cross guard (the part that shields the hand that holds the sword) an emblem is engraved. The emblem is a flying eagle holding a shield.

Dimensions: total length 7.63 cm (3.00 inch)

Weight: 2.50 gram
