In 1958, Hush Puppies helped the world to relax a bit by creating an incredibly comfortable, well-built casual shoe. I was told that they are called "Hush Puppies" because military personnel (wearing uncomfortable shoes and on their feet most of the time), would complain that their "dogs are barking", meaning their feet hurt. Hush Puppies quiet those barking dogs by surrounding your feet in COMFORT and STYLE (not sure it's factual, but I like that logic).

We have relocated to a MUCH smaller home with zero closet space and no attic to convert to a walk-in closet... I am forced to part with my collection of vintage, two-tone oxfords - all in NEW condition. There are no stains, damage, wear or defects to these shoes. The size 8.5 shoes measure 10.5" heel to toe... (measuring the sole).

I apologize for my photographic challenges today, but I'm trying to accomplish what I can before our 2-year-old is going full force. Please let me know if you are interested in additional photos - I'd be happy to send additional pics. This pair is to the right of the deeper, more reddish rust and tan. These have a bit more "orange" to them and the "stone" is lighter than the "tan"...
