Beautiful Victorian styled domed butter dish. The top rolls back and it stands on ornate cabriole legs. This is hallmarked William A. Rogers, Silver Plate over Copper BMMIS 312, and would date between 1897 and 1929 as that is the date he sold out to Oneida. I have left the patina unpolished as some prefer it. There is no glass liner, legs are tight, lid works beautifully, and no dents. Besides butter, this would make a very elegant ring/jewelry holder.

Measures 5" tall, 16" around widest and 5" across inside
